Origin: The  Howgate Wonder Apple Tree is a cross of Newton Wonder and Blenheim Orange. Raised on the Isle of White, 1915.

Mr Beardsworth says… “The apples from the Howgate Wonder apple tree can only be described as massive. Mrs Beardsworth uses them for baked apple dumplings, one apple makes a desert for four. If I could only have one cooking apple variety, I’d choose this one”.
