Origin: The George Cave apple tree was raised by Mr George Cave of Dovercourt, Essex in 1923.
Mr Beardsworth says… “The George Cave apple tree is an excellent self fertile variety. The medium sized apples can be eaten from the tree, crisp and juicy. This variety is very suitable for northern climates with good frost resistance”.
