Loading Events

This a a new a new workshop for 2020, it’s been much requested by those that have attended our flower arranging sessions.

Meryl Clarke from Nodding Violets is joining us to demonstrate how to grow your own, beautiful cut flowers in your own garden. Tips on sowing, planting, planning and which varieties are best to grow to enable you to make beautiful bouquets from your garden all summer long

On the day we’ll be sowing seeds in trays, pricking out seedlings and if weather permits we’ll prepare some seedbeds and divide some perennials in Mrs Beardsworth’s garden at Brick Hill Farm. Everyone will take home a tray of sown seeds to be grown on and planted in your own garden in the spring.

At half way we will have a short break for some home made cakes and refreshments.

Later in the summer Meryl will be returning to show us how to maintain, cut and harvest the flowers we propagated and prepared.

An email with full details of the workshop will be sent after your ticket purchase is completed and a reminder the week before the workshop.

If you need to cancel we offer a full refund up to a week before the advertised date and a 50% refund from then on.
