Beardsworths are pleased to invite you to a Christmas wreath workshop covering how to make natural Christmas Wreaths using foliage, berries, flowers and seedheads from the garden. After the huge success of this summer’s flower arranging workshops we are very pleased that Meryl Clarke from Nodding Violets has agreed to be our guest expert and show us how it’s done.
Meryl Clarke is a fully qualified horticulturalist. A few years ago, always wanting to expand her knowledge of flowers she started growing cut flowers. She uses only British blooms, seasons allowing, to create stunningly beautiful, natural style arrangements that our charming English cottage garden flowers are so perfect for.
The workshop will cover everything from how to make a moss ring, collecting and harvesting your foliage and flowers through to matching colours and textures to make a stunning wreath. Everyone will have a pre-made ring and enough foliage, berries and flowers to make a beautiful wreath to take home and get into the festive spirit.
We will have a mid-workshop break for some refreshments and home made cakes, I’m not sure what kind yet as I need to speak nicely to Mrs Beardsworth.
An email with full details of the workshop will be sent as a reminder the week before the workshop.
If you need to cancel we offer a full refund up to a week before the advertised date and a 50% refund from then on.
