Beardsworths are pleased to invite you to a workshop on how to grow and use flowers from your garden to make stunning bouquets and arrangements.
We are very pleased that after the success of last year’s workshop Meryl Clarke from Nodding Violets has again agreed to be our guest floristry expert.
Meryl Clarke is a fully qualified horticulturalist. A few years ago, always wanting to expand her knowledge of flowers she started growing cut flowers. She uses only British blooms, seasons allowing, to create stunningly beautiful, natural style arrangements that our charming English cottage garden flowers are so perfect for.
The workshop will be 2 hours long (please allow for some over run) and cover everything from the best plant varieties to grow and how to get the best from them, how to harvest your flowers through to the creation of fabulous bouquets and table decorations. We will be harvesting enough fresh flowers for everyone to take home their own bouquet.
At half way we will have a short break for some home made cakes and refreshments.
An email with full details of the workshop will be sent after your ticket purchase is completed and a reminder the week before the workshop.
If you need to cancel we offer a full refund up to a week before the advertised date and a 50% refund from then on.
