DESCRIPTION:This year we are celebrating Apple Day on Saturday 30th of September at our Garden Centre and Nursery at Whitehall Road. \nOn display will be a selection of our Apples grown from our Orchard in Scholes just 1 mile away from our nursery with varietys like Red Love\, Katy and Pitmaston Pineapple. Our Apples are there for you to try as well as purchase direct from us and take home that day. There will be a special offer of 25% off all our apple trees for one day only. \nBill Beardsworth will be providing information on his favourite Apple varieties  and providing advice on how to look after your apple trees. A short demonstration on tree grafting will be ongoing through the day by our grafting expert Phil.  There will also be a selection of Mrs B’s homemade jams\, chutneys and some of our local honey to purchase. \nIts an informal event\, ongoing from 9 – 12.

DESCRIPTION:This a a new a new workshop for 2020\, it’s been much requested by those that have attended our flower arranging sessions. \nMeryl Clarke from Nodding Violets is joining us to demonstrate how to grow your own\, beautiful cut flowers in your own garden. Tips on sowing\, planting\, planning and which varieties are best to grow to enable you to make beautiful bouquets from your garden all summer long \nOn the day we’ll be sowing seeds in trays\, pricking out seedlings and if weather permits we’ll prepare some seedbeds and divide some perennials in Mrs Beardsworth’s garden at Brick Hill Farm.
